While traditional suppressors will increase bolt speed by up to and beyond 30% due to the increase in backpressure, measurements have shown that B&T’s RBS suppressors see a negligible increase of about 1%, reducing parts wear and tear and fouling of the weapon system. A low-pressure chamber design absorbs a significant amount of these gasses, thereby reducing back pressure, making the RBS an excellent choice for semi-automatic carbines, assault rifles and machine guns.
