Named after the grasshopper mouse—a small yet fierce carnivorous rodent native to the southwestern United States known for preying on scorpions and being immune to their venom—the GHM is as formidable and versatile as its namesake. The GHM is a cost-effective, competition-oriented pistol caliber carbine (PCC) that incorporates many of the outstanding qualities that made the APC9 so successful, while offering additional flexibility and modularity to the user.
The Gen 2 GHM allows users to customize their firearm with interchangeable barrel lengths, handguards, and stocks, as well as the option to add an SD (suppressed) kit among other accessories. Like many B&T submachine guns (SMGs), the GHM9 accepts all APC9 PRO lower receiver groups. This means it can be configured to accommodate Glock® magazines, SIG Sauer® P320 magazines, or proprietary B&T magazines simply by swapping the non-serialized lower receiver group. This adaptability makes the GHM an excellent choice for competition shooting, personal defense, and tactical applications.
