Similar to our APC223/556 Pistol with its identical 10.3-in. barrel, our APC223/556 SBR (Short-Barreled Rifle) utilizes a piston operating system optimized for suppressor use and regulated via an adjustable gas valve. Easily tuned as weapon fouling increases due to heavy firing schedules or prolonged use with a suppressor, this model, chambered in 5.56 NATO, employs a hydraulic buffer system that reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, enhances intermediate barrier penetration, and increases terminal performance.

Featuring B&T–s flexible MBT stock–eight-position, telescoping and side-folding–and fully ambidextrous controls, rapid and discreet deployment are end-user optimized, while compatibility with myriad B&T accessories, including interfaces, handguard enhancements, optic mounts and suppressors, allow mission-specific platform customization. Factory-provided flash hider, backup sights, cleaning kit, nylon sling, soft case and 30-round magazine complete this multi-tasking weapon. Variants include12.1-in. barrel in 5.56 NATO and a .300 Blackout with an 8.7-in. barrel.
