The RBS DM FN MAG suppressor utilizes the same Reduced Backpressure System (RBS) suppressor technology found in the other suppressors within this folder, yet its attachment method was developed specifically to securely mount to the popular M240-series machine gun produced by FN. This direct mount threads onto the existing muzzle threads and is further secured by a push-button ratchet mount that fastens to the existing front sight assembly and interfaces directly with the suppressor body, creating a highly effective, yet simple and secure method of attachment.
This compact suppressor system is 6.7 inches in overall length and adds just 2.8 inches beyond the length of the original flashider delivered with the weapon system, equating to a minimal increase in overall length and negligible effect on the maneuverability and handling characteristics of the platform.
